Article 1 - Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern sales of products and services offered by The Yarn Nest on the website theyarnnest.com. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Article 2 - Products and Services
The Yarn Nest sells digital crochet and knitting patterns (delivered as PDF files containing written instructions and photo tutorials). Products are described as accurately as possible. Preview images and descriptions have no contractual value.
Article 3 - Orders
To place an order, the customer must: 1. Select the desired pattern(s) 2. Provide contact information (email, name) 3. Choose a payment method 4. Confirm and proceed with payment The order is confirmed upon receipt of payment. A confirmation email with your download link is sent to the provided address.
Article 4 - Prices
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) including all applicable taxes. The applicable VAT is that in effect on the day of the order. The Yarn Nest reserves the right to modify prices at any time, with patterns being invoiced at the price in effect at the time of order confirmation.
Article 5 - Payment
Payment is made online by card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple/Google Pay, SEPA or cryptocurrency via our secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. Payment is charged at the time of order confirmation. All transactions are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Article 6 - Delivery
Digital products: PDF patterns are delivered instantly via email after payment confirmation, and are always available to re-download in your account. The Yarn Nest sells digital patterns only — there is nothing to ship. If a download link ever fails to reach you, contact support@theyarnnest.com and we'll resend it right away.
Article 7 - Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with French Consumer Code Article L.221-18, the customer normally has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties. Exceptions: In accordance with Article L.221-28, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content provided on an intangible medium whose execution has begun with the consumer's agreement (downloaded PDF patterns). Independently of this, The Yarn Nest offers a 14-day guarantee if a pattern contains an error. To make a request, contact us at support@theyarnnest.com.
Article 8 - Warranties
The Yarn Nest is committed to delivering patterns that match their description and open correctly as PDF files. If a pattern contains an error, contact us and we will provide a corrected version or, where no solution is found, a refund. As these are digital goods, the legal guarantees applicable to physical products do not apply, but our 14-day guarantee does.
Article 9 - Liability
The Yarn Nest is committed to providing patterns that conform to their description. The Yarn Nest shall not be held liable in the event of misuse of the product by the customer, force majeure, or unforeseeable and insurmountable acts of a third party. Finished results may vary with yarn, gauge and technique.
Article 10 - Intellectual Property
All elements of the theyarnnest.com website (text, images, logos, patterns, software) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or redistribution of our PDF patterns without prior authorization is prohibited.
Article 11 - Personal Data
Personal data collected is processed in accordance with the GDPR. For more information, please consult our Privacy Policy.
Article 12 - Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or execution falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of the registered office of The Yarn Nest.
